Last Updated: October 21, 2026 · Addendum to the KadoPool Terms of Service
This KadoPool Connectors Addendum (the "Addendum") is an agreement between you and KadoPool LLC ("KadoPool", "we", "us") about the KadoPool Connectors program (the "Program"). It adds to the KadoPool Terms of Service (the "Terms"), which continue to apply. If this Addendum and the Terms conflict on the Program, this Addendum applies. Words defined in the Terms have the same meaning here.
1.1 What it is. The Program rewards organizers who bring new organizers to KadoPool. As a Connector, you receive a share of KadoPool's fee on the pools organized by people you brought to KadoPool, for a limited time (section 3).
1.2 What it is not. You earn nothing on pools you organize yourself. You do not handle, hold or receive any contributor's money. The Program does not make you an employee, agent, partner or representative of KadoPool, and you may not make promises or statements on KadoPool's behalf.
2.1 Invitation. You may join only when the KadoPool app offers it to you. We offer the Program to organizers whose closed pools, over the previous 12 months, include at least two Qualifying Pools (section 4) and at least 25 different paying contributors. We may change these thresholds for future offers.
2.2 Eligibility. To join and remain a Connector, you must (a) be at least 18 and a resident of the United States, (b) have a KadoPool account in good standing, (c) not have lost a payment dispute (chargeback) as a payer, and (d) not be subject to a fraud investigation. KadoPool may decline or end any participation at its discretion, including to prevent fraud.
2.3 Acceptance. You join by accepting this Addendum in the app. We record the version you accepted, the date and time, and the device and network address used.
2.4 Payout account. To be paid, you must connect a payout account through Stripe, KadoPool's payment processor, and complete Stripe's identity and tax information steps (section 6).
3.1 Recruits. A "Recruit" is a person who organizes their first KadoPool pool after either:
If more than one Connector could claim a person, the earliest of these events decides, and the person is the Recruit of that Connector only. A person who has organized a pool before is never a Recruit. Attribution is recorded once, when the person creates their first pool, and does not change.
3.2 Not yourself. You cannot be your own Recruit. A person is not your Recruit if KadoPool reasonably determines that they are you or act for you — including through another account, an account merged with yours, or a payment card you have also used.
3.3 Your share. For each Qualifying Pool organized by one of your Recruits that closes during that Recruit's Earning Period, you earn an amount equal to 50% of KadoPool's Platform Fee on that pool, minus the share of that fee paid or owed to a Partner Organization linked to the pool. For a pool with no Partner Organization, your share is 50% of the Platform Fee; for a pool linked to a Partner Organization receiving 30%, your share is 20%. "Platform Fee" means KadoPool's fee on the pool's contributions, excluding any sales tax and excluding the price of KadoClip, and including the amount added to KadoPool's fee when the pool's amounts are rounded at sending.
3.4 Earning Period. Each Recruit's "Earning Period" starts when their first Qualifying Pool closes and ends 24 months later. Pools that close after it earn nothing.
3.5 Annual limits. You can earn at most $1,999.99 per calendar year (by the date the pools close). Amounts above that limit are not earned and do not carry over. We also pay you at most $1,999.99 in any calendar year: an amount you earned that would take you over it is paid in the next calendar year.
3.6 What you can see. Your dashboard shows how many Recruits you have, what you have earned and been paid. For their privacy, we do not tell you who your Recruits are, or what anyone contributed.
A "Qualifying Pool" is a pool that, when it closes:
KadoPool determines whether a pool qualifies, acting reasonably.
5.1 Hold. An amount you earn on a pool becomes payable 30 days after the pool closes.
5.2 Reversed payments. If a payment into the pool is disputed by the payer (a chargeback) before the amount is paid to you, that payment is left out and your amount is reduced accordingly. Amounts already paid to you are not reduced for a later dispute, unless section 9 applies.
5.3 Held pools. If a pool is held for review, its amount is not paid while the hold lasts, and is not earned if the review finds the pool or its payments fraudulent.
6.1 Schedule. We pay quarterly, in the first days of January, April, July and October, the payable amounts not yet paid, if they total at least $20. Smaller totals carry over to the next quarter.
6.2 Method. Payments are made in US dollars by transfer to your Stripe payout account. You are responsible for keeping it in good standing; we are not responsible for a payment Stripe cannot make because of your account. Stripe's own terms apply to your account.
6.3 Taxes. Amounts you earn are income. You are responsible for any taxes on them. You agree to give us, through Stripe or otherwise, the tax information we request (such as a taxpayer identification number). We will issue tax information returns (such as Form 1099-NEC) when the law requires it, and we may withhold payment, or withhold tax as the law requires, until we receive the information we need.
6.4 Leaving. If you leave the Program or your participation ends (other than under section 9), amounts already earned are paid on the normal schedule, whatever their total.
7.1 Disclosure. Whenever you share your Connector code or link, or recommend KadoPool, you must clearly disclose that you may earn a reward — for example: "I may earn a share of KadoPool's fee if you start a pool."
7.2 Not allowed. You may not: (a) send unsolicited messages (spam) or messages that break anti-spam or telemarketing laws; (b) make false or misleading statements about KadoPool, its fees or its payouts; (c) bid on KadoPool's name or marks in paid search or advertising, or use them in a way that suggests you are KadoPool; (d) offer anyone money or anything of value to use your code or start a pool; (e) create pools, accounts or payments for the purpose of earning; or (f) attempt to obtain a reward you are not entitled to.
8.1 Changes. We may change this Addendum or the Program by giving you at least 30 days' notice by e-mail. A change does not reduce amounts already earned. If you do not accept a change, you may leave the Program.
8.2 Ending the Program. We may end the Program, or stop admitting new Connectors or Recruits, at any time with at least 30 days' notice. If we do, Recruits already recorded keep earning for you until the end of their Earning Period, under this Addendum, unless your participation ends under section 9.
8.3 Leaving. You may leave the Program at any time by writing to [email protected]. Section 6.4 applies.
If we reasonably determine that you have broken this Addendum or the Terms, or taken part in fraud, we may end your participation immediately, cancel amounts not yet paid that relate to the breach or fraud, and recover amounts already paid that you were not entitled to, in addition to our rights under the Terms (including section 14).
10.1 Records. KadoPool's records of contributions, pools, attribution and amounts are used to calculate what you earn. If you believe an amount is wrong, tell us within 90 days of the payment or of the dashboard showing it.
10.2 Liability. The Terms' limitation of liability (section 12) applies to the Program.
10.3 Governing law. This Addendum is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, as set out in section 11 of the Terms.
