For schools, PTAs and daycares
Every class gift can give back to your school.
Teacher gifts, a coach’s thank-you, a principal’s farewell: families already chip in all year. With KadoPool, those gifts give twice — to the person celebrated, and to your school.
Free for your school
Three ways the money comes in
Gifts that give twice
Room parents link the gift for a teacher, the whole staff or a coach to your school or PTA: 30% of KadoPool’s fee on each goes to you, and it never comes out of the gift. Usually $1 to $3 a gift.
Your own donation pools
A class trip fund, new library books, art supplies, a playground: run it as a donation pool and share it with one link or QR code. Each donation goes to your Stripe account as it is made.
Donations in someone’s honor
For a retiring teacher or a much-loved principal, families give to your school in their honor instead of a present. They receive a KadoBook of everyone’s messages.
Schools, PTAs and daycares the IRS recognizes as nonprofits can be partners (a public school usually joins through its PTA or PTO). Donation pools: when donations to you are tax-deductible (501(c)(3)).
Join in a few minutes
- Claim your school or PTA at kadopool.com/claim: find it, tell us who you are, add your EIN — we confirm your nonprofit status with the IRS.
- Connect Stripe to be paid. Already using Stripe? Sign in to reuse your details. New to Stripe? Your free account is set up right there.
- Tell your families. Share our postcard with room parents, and the link to each of your donation pools.
The basics, plainly
- Free for your school, with no commitment.
- Paid through Stripe: your share every quarter once it reaches $50, otherwise once a year from $25, less Stripe’s payout fee. Donations reach your Stripe account as they are made, and your bank when the pool closes.
- Unrestricted: the 30% is a referral fee paid by KadoPool, not a donation from families. Field trips, art supplies, repairs: your school decides.
- No admin work: we handle payments, notifications and support — no cash in envelopes.
“This was not built to be the next unicorn. This was built to solve a real problem and do good at the same time.”Olivier Lachaud, KadoPool founder
