For nonprofits

Turn your community’s gifts into support for your mission.

KadoPool is the group-gifting app that gives twice: to the person your supporters celebrate, and to the cause they share.

Three ways the money comes in

Gifts that give twice

Supporters link their group gifts — a birthday, a farewell, a coach’s thank-you — to you: 30% of KadoPool’s fee on each goes to your organization, and it never comes out of the gift. Usually $1 to $3 a gift.

Your own donation pools

Run a campaign — a holiday food drive, new kennels, a community mural — and share it with one link or QR code. Each donation goes to your Stripe account as it is made.

Donations in someone’s honor

Instead of presents or flowers, friends give to your organization in someone’s honor. The person they celebrate receives a KadoBook of everyone’s messages; the donations go to you.

Any nonprofit the IRS recognizes can be a partner. Donation pools are for those whose donations are tax-deductible (501(c)(3)).

Join in a few minutes

  1. Claim your organization at kadopool.com/claim: find it, tell us who you are, add your EIN — we confirm your nonprofit status with the IRS.
  2. Connect Stripe to be paid. Already using Stripe? Sign in to reuse your details. New to Stripe? Your free account is set up right there.
  3. Tell your community. Share our postcard, and the link to each of your donation pools.

The basics, plainly

  • Free for your organization, with no commitment.
  • Paid through Stripe: your share every quarter once it reaches $50, otherwise once a year from $25, less Stripe’s payout fee. Donations reach your Stripe account as they are made, and your bank when the pool closes.
  • Unrestricted: the 30% is a referral fee paid by KadoPool, not a donation from contributors. Your organization decides how to use it.
  • No admin work: we handle payment processing, contributor notifications and customer support.
“This was not built to be the next unicorn. This was built to solve a real problem and do good at the same time.”
