When your community uses KadoPool for a group gift — a birthday, a farewell, a coach’s thank-you — 30% of our platform fee comes back to you. And with donation pools, your supporters can give to you directly, or in someone’s honor.
Free for your organization. No bake sales, no forms: your share comes in as your community uses KadoPool, and donation pools send donations straight to you.

How Riverside Soccer Club can pay for new goals: gifts linked to the club, its own donation pool, and a wedding.
Being a partner costs your organization nothing. Here is what it opens up.
People link their group gifts — a birthday, a farewell, a coach’s thank-you — to your organization. 30% of KadoPool’s fee on each linked pool goes to you, and it never comes out of the gift. Usually $1 to $3 a pool, all year round.
For example: coworkers chip in for a colleague’s farewell gift and link it to the food bank where she volunteers.
Run a campaign — a holiday food drive, new kennels, a community mural — and share it with one link or QR code. Each donation goes to your organization’s Stripe account as it is made.
For example: a food bank runs its holiday drive as a donation pool.
Instead of a wedding present, a birthday gift or flowers, people give to your organization in someone’s honor. The person they celebrate receives a KadoBook of everyone’s messages; the donations go to you.
For example: for her 70th birthday, friends give to the arts center she loves instead of presents.

The 30% your organization receives from linked gift pools is paid by KadoPool, not by contributors. It is a commercial referral fee, not a charitable donation, and it is unrestricted: your organization decides how to use it. Contributors to gift pools don’t receive a tax receipt. Donation pools are different: they are donations to your organization, which you acknowledge (see “Donation pools, explained” below). How your organization records each deposit is your accounting team’s call — we’re happy to provide whatever documentation helps. Contact [email protected].
A donation pool is a KadoPool pool whose money goes to your organization instead of a person.
Anyone with the KadoPool app — your staff, a board member or a supporter — when donations to your organization are tax-deductible (501(c)(3)), which we confirm with the IRS. Every other nonprofit still gets the 30% share on linked gifts.
Donors give from a link or a QR code, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, from $10, with no app needed. The organizer chooses how donors pay the fees: included in each donation (the default; your organization receives it less the fees) or added on top (your organization receives every donation in full).
Donors in {states} can't give to donation pools yet. Gift pools aren't affected.
Each donation reaches your organization’s Stripe account as it is made, with 30% of KadoPool’s fee on it. When the pool closes, KadoPool sends the pool’s donations to your bank in one payout, as soon as they have cleared with Stripe, less Stripe’s payout fee (25¢ + 0.25%, plus $2 for the first payout of the month). Nothing to do on your side: we e-mail you when it is on its way.
Each donation shows in your Stripe account as it is made; donors’ names come when the pool closes. Donors never see each other’s amounts. When the pool closes, we e-mail each donor’s name, e-mail, ZIP code and amount to the address on your organization’s Stripe account, so you can thank them and send their receipts. Prefer that we send the acknowledgments in your name? Write to [email protected].
Free, with no commitment. How active you want to be is up to you.
Fill in the form below: your organization’s name, ZIP code and a contact e-mail. Two minutes.
We e-mail you a link to claim your listing: your name, role and phone, your EIN (we check it against the IRS list of tax-exempt organizations) and our Partner Addendum. We confirm you speak for the organization through its e-mail domain, or with a short call.
Stripe verifies your organization and its bank account. For donation pools, we check with the IRS that donations to you are tax-deductible (501(c)(3)). Once a year, we ask you to confirm it’s all still current.
Tell your community with our flyers and postcards: every pool linked to you helps, and your donation pools are one link away.
Your organization’s share is recorded with every pool that closes and paid to your organization’s Stripe account: every quarter once it reaches $50, otherwise once a year from $25, less Stripe’s payout fee (today 25¢ + 0.25%, plus $2 for the first payout of the month). Donations reach your Stripe account as they are made; KadoPool sends each pool’s donations to your bank when it closes.
At least once a year, by January 15, we send you a report: the pools linked to you, the amounts collected, our fees and your share. See a sample
We never sell or share parent, staff or member data. The one exception is by design: for donation pools, your organization receives the donor list it needs to acknowledge each gift.
We handle payment processing, contributor notifications and customer support. No invoices to send, no reconciliation, no chasing payments. Where your state requires it, you file our agreement once, and our annual report gives you the figures for your yearly filing by January 15.
How your organization's share is calculated and paid, the verification it needs and what it agrees to are all in the Partner Organization Addendum, which adds to our Terms of Service. Please read it before you register.
Animal shelters, food banks, arts groups, sports clubs, schools and community charities: any nonprofit a community rallies around gets paid as that community uses KadoPool.
