Legal · Refund Policy
We aim to be fair. A refund is possible until the organizer sends the gift. After that, the gift belongs to the recipient.
If you contributed by mistake or changed your mind, you can refund yourself in the app until the pool's closing date. After that, and until the gift is sent, ask the organizer: they can still refund you.
Until you send the gift, you can refund a contributor or cancel the pool, even after the closing date. If you cancel:
A pool nobody contributed to is cancelled automatically 30 days after its closing date.
When sending the gift, the organizer can put part of it on gift cards and add a KadoClip; the recipient then chooses how to receive the rest. Once the gift is sent, these choices can't be changed.
The same rules apply until the pool is closed: you can refund yourself until the closing date, and the organizer can refund you or cancel the pool until they close it. A refunded donation is taken back from the organization and gets no tax receipt. Once the pool is closed, its donations belong to the organization and can't be refunded.
If you see a KadoPool charge you don't recognize, or something went wrong, write to us at [email protected] before contacting your bank. We usually reply within one business day, and a refund through us is quicker than a bank dispute.
If a payment is disputed with the bank, the disputed amount no longer counts toward the pool (Terms §3.5).
