Refund & Cancellation Policy

We strive to be fair. Because we deal with group money and instant digital gifts, there are specific time windows when refunds are possible.

Once the pool is closed, the Organizer can allocate funds across direct payment and gift cards for the Recipient. The Recipient can further decide to spend the cash portion on additional gift cards directly in the application.

Before Pool Closure

The funds are still held in the pool and have not yet been allocated to the Recipient.

  • YES Contributors can request a self-refund.
  • YES Organizers can cancel the pool.
  • NOTE Stripe processing fees are non-refundable. KadoPool always waives its fee.

After Pool Closure

The Organizer has locked the funds for the Recipient to claim.

  • NO Individual refunds are no longer possible.
  • NO The pool cannot be cancelled.
  • WHY The money is now technically "owned" by the Recipient and may have already been redeemed.

Don't recognize a charge?

If you see a charge from KADOPOOL*GIFT (or similar) on your statement and don't recognize it, please contact us before contacting your bank.

We can usually resolve unrecognized charges or accidental contributions within 24 hours, saving you the hassle of a bank dispute.
